My story…………
Hi, I’m Terrance (never Terry !) and this is my story. I grew up on a family farm with my four sisters and parents where we raised hogs, cattle and crops. It was a great place to grow up where I learned many life lessons which have shaped my life today. Faith in God has been extremely important in my life, seeing me thru many challenges and experiences.
My path to life as a photographer started with a small Kodak 110 instamatic film camera which I carried in my pocket daily in my early teens. My introverted life took a major turn when I received a 35 mm camera for Christmas my senior year of high school. I became the yearbook photographer and a whole new world opened up before my eyes. I became a new person with confidence and a life goal. Following high school, the stepping stones to my life now included driving a school bus, camera store stockroom clerk, darkroom photo processor, grocery store worker, and finally a photographer in a local major studio. All of these experiences have brought me to now. We have owned our own studio for 30 years ! Hard work and constant learning (conventions, seminars, webinars etc ) DOES pay off ! I absolutely LOVE working with people and creating photographs for them to treasure forever. The world of photography has had many changes in my lifetime, but God has continued to sustain and reward with a promise of hope eternal. Life is good doing what you love !
